Our projects

We build projects that last

Selected engagements across rail, marine, mining, and industrial facilities — aligned with public information on sixsolutions.com.au. Each lead image is paired with the capability photo set that matches the “Key capabilities delivered” scope (hydro-demolition, structural concrete remediation, tank coating removal, industrial surface decontamination).

ARC Infrastructure Construction

Pile hydro-demolition

Client: Enviro

Six Solutions performed hydro-demolition works on various railways throughout Western Australia on reinforced concrete piles as part of new bridge infrastructure construction projects and upgrades.

Ultra-high pressure water jetting was used to remove existing concrete and expose reinforcement without causing micro-fracturing or structural damage, ensuring the piers were properly prepared for the next stage of construction.

Key capabilities delivered

  • Hydro-demolition of reinforced concrete
  • Structural preparation of marine piers
  • Precision removal around reinforcement
  • Preparation for new infrastructure construction

Outcome

All piles were successfully prepared using hydro-demolition techniques, allowing the project to progress efficiently while maintaining structural integrity.

Fremantle Ports

Berth 7 & 11 structural concrete remediation

Client: TAMS Group

Location: Fremantle Ports, Western Australia

Six Solutions supported TAMS Group during a scheduled shutdown to perform hydro-demolition and gunite reinstatement works to deteriorated concrete beams and soffits beneath the wharf structure.

Working within a live marine environment with restricted access, the project required simultaneous operations (SIMOPS) and continuous coordination with other trades. The team operated 24-hour shifts using multiple hydro-demolition units alongside gunite crews to meet the shutdown window.

Key capabilities delivered

  • Hydro-demolition of deteriorated concrete
  • Structural preparation of beams and soffits
  • Gunite concrete reinstatement works
  • Marine infrastructure remediation
  • Shutdown works under restricted access conditions

Outcome

The project was delivered safely under challenging shutdown conditions, restoring critical structural elements of the wharf infrastructure.

Thunderbox Gold Mine

CIL tank coating removal

Client: GPC

Location: Thunderbox Gold Mine, Western Australia

Six Solutions were engaged to perform internal coating removal and tank cleaning on a Carbon-in-Leach (CIL) processing tank at Thunderbox Gold Mine.

The tank contained failed internal protective coatings, which required complete removal prior to inspection and recoating. Our team first drained and emptied over 4200m³ of product using our tank head to disturb the product and liquify the solids. We then drained the tank using a high flow submersible pump, followed by ultra-high pressure hydro blasting to strip the failed coating system and prepare the internal steel surfaces.

Key capabilities delivered

  • Tank draining and preparation
  • Ultra-high pressure hydro blasting
  • Removal of failed internal coatings
  • Internal tank surface preparation
  • Confined space operations within a shutdown environment

Outcome

The tank was successfully drained and stripped back to a clean substrate, allowing the client to proceed with inspection and recoating works while maintaining shutdown schedule requirements.

Southern Ports

Industrial surface decontamination

Client: MCM Construction

Location: Southern Ports, Western Australia

Six Solutions were engaged to perform deep mechanical scabbling and surface decontamination within a processing facility.

Using the Falch MultiWorker 250 robotic hydro-demolition system, the team removed over 700m² of contaminated sulfur-affected concrete surfaces within a confined shed environment. The deep scabbling process ensured all contaminated material was removed to achieve a clean, sound substrate ready for remediation.

Key capabilities delivered

  • Robotic hydro-demolition using Falch MultiWorker 250
  • Deep concrete scabbling
  • Removal of sulfur-contaminated concrete surfaces
  • Industrial surface preparation

Outcome

The contaminated surfaces were successfully removed and prepared for remediation works, providing a clean and structurally sound base for reinstatement.

Our plant and equipment
