ARC Infrastructure Construction
Pile hydro-demolition
Six Solutions performed hydro-demolition works on various railways throughout Western Australia on reinforced concrete piles as part of new bridge infrastructure construction projects and upgrades.
Ultra-high pressure water jetting was used to remove existing concrete and expose reinforcement without causing micro-fracturing or structural damage, ensuring the piers were properly prepared for the next stage of construction.
Key capabilities delivered
- Hydro-demolition of reinforced concrete
- Structural preparation of marine piers
- Precision removal around reinforcement
- Preparation for new infrastructure construction
Outcome
All piles were successfully prepared using hydro-demolition techniques, allowing the project to progress efficiently while maintaining structural integrity.
