Matthew Bateman
Proud Bundjalung man, now based in Perth, Western Australia.
As Managing Director of Six Solutions, a majority Indigenous-owned business, Matthew leads the delivery of high-performance structural repair and concrete remediation capabilities across the mining, marine, infrastructure and energy sectors.
With over a decade of hands-on industry experience, Matthew has developed a strong technical foundation across hydro-demolition, concrete remediation, surface preparation, industrial cleaning, abrasive blasting, rope access, and composite strengthening systems. His career has progressed from the tools into leadership, bringing a practical, solutions-focused approach to every project.
Matthew has successfully led large, complex crews across both onshore and offshore environments, consistently delivering works safely, on schedule and to specification. His leadership style is grounded in accountability, team culture and a commitment to quality outcomes.
Driven by a vision to build a leading Indigenous contractor in the remediation space, Matthew is focused on long-term client partnerships, continuous improvement, and delivering durable solutions that protect and extend the life of critical infrastructure.

Ammar Cheema
Ammar Cheema is the General Manager of Six Solutions, bringing a strong blend of engineering expertise, project delivery experience, and operational leadership to the business.
With a background in mechanical engineering and extensive experience in structural remediation and specialist contracting, Ammar has played a key role in delivering complex projects across the mining, marine and infrastructure sectors.
Ammar's expertise spans hydro-demolition, concrete remediation, surface preparation, and large-scale shutdown execution. His ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and coordinate high-risk works ensures projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standard.
Prior to joining Six Solutions, Ammar held project management roles on major infrastructure and remediation projects, where he developed a strong reputation for planning, execution and client engagement.
At Six Solutions, Ammar is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, driving project performance, and strengthening client relationships. His leadership is focused on building scalable systems, improving delivery capability, and supporting the company's continued growth across Western Australia.
